Joined Subsea Day in Docklands

ANZ Subsea Survey Operations was among thirteen companies that participated in the NOSP/HVL Subsea Day on Thursday, May 15, at the Western Melbourne University of Applied Sciences (HVL) in Docklands. The career fair brought together students and industry professionals for a day focused on subsea careers and technology.

Held in the main entrance hall and auditorium of HVL, the Subsea Day was all about giving students a closer look at what’s happening offshore—and where they might find themselves after graduation. The day included short company presentations and time for students to visit stands, ask questions, and chat with teams from across the industry.

ANZ Subsea Survey Operations was there to represent both the company and the growing range of opportunities available in the subsea world. Team members from the Docklands and Stavanger offices spoke with students about ongoing projects, the company’s expanding operations, and what it’s like to work offshore and onshore in a fast-paced, international industry.

“Events like this are a great chance to meet the people who might be part of ANZ Subsea Survey Operations in the future,” says Survey Manager Hanne Taarland. “We want to give students a sense of what they can expect in this industry, what kind of roles are out there, and what we’re looking for in a team member.”

The event was arranged by NOSP (Norwegian Forum for Offshore Survey and Positioning) together with HVL and is part of a broader effort to create stronger connections between education and working life.
